Adding Some Polish

There wasn't anything too big that I did this past week. There were some bugs to fix and some tweaks to be made. The biggest bug I found regarding the player was that when the player dies some inputs can still be registered. For instance, the player was able to activate abilities when they died which could make things a bit confusing if they activated an ability right as they died and didn't notice they died. A simple fix to that was to use the player controller to disable input.

I also created a blood particle system to provide better feedback to the player. I did a playtest of the game with my roommate and some of the feedback he gave was he couldn't really tell that he was damaging enemies or that the player was getting damaged. Part of that was because we were using some placeholder hit particle effects. So I created our own custom blood particle effect and I think it turned out pretty well.

I also noticed we were lacking in the weapon department so I added a few more weapons to the game with a couple of highlights: a dagger called 'The Traitors Dagger', and a Morningstar called the 'Morningstar Heirloom'. The Traitors Dagger is the dagger that was used by Marcus Junius Brutus to betray Julius Ceasar. It's designed to punish the player and how it does that is it's not only the weakest weapon in the game but also heals the enemies by a small amount. The Morningstar Heirloom belonged to Lucifer Morningstar himself and burns eternally with the flames of the hellfire. It does fire damage and lifesteal damage to heal the player.
