Shifter (GGJ 2022)
A downloadable game for Windows
A 3D FPS Puzzle Platformer where the player must send objects between the Positive and Negative worlds to solve puzzles.
This project was created for the Global Game Jam 2022 where the theme was Duality, and was created with Unreal Engine 4.
My Role
For this project, I was responsible for the VFX, UI, and some gameplay elements.
I created the post-processing effect which applied an outline to objects in the world and implemented the "shifting" functionality which dynamically changed the post-process effect and materials of the objects in the world.
I designed and Implemented all of the UI in the game including the main menu and pause menu.
I also created and implemented an interaction system for buttons and switches to trigger events like opening doors and such.
Controls:
- WASD - Movement
- SPACE - Jump
- LMB - Fire
- ESC/P - Pause
Developed in January 2022.

Install instructions
If you downloaded the Shifter executable, unzip/extract the files and run the CubeShifter.exe file to start playing.
